I am so glad I was able to see this. This piece is beautiful, mesmerizing and sad - I'm not going to lie to you - bring the tissues and open your heart but don't be afraid. Lindsay Beamish and Vanessa Peters have constructed the world of this theatrical experience so expertly that you are able to experience all they go through without having to take the weight of it with you. In other words, without explaining a thing, they make their story very clear and ultimately give us hope for a future where their pain, and whatever our pain might happen to be, is ultimately something we can bear. ... full review

This was a fascinating show. Equal parts heartbreaking and (oddly) inspiring. I was completely blown away by this world that these two incredibly gifted artists created and how they were able to pull you into it within the first few minutes. As it went on, you not only understood their "longing," you felt it with them. They also provide the space for you to identify your own longing as they gently, but strikingly make the struggle universal. This is a very artistic show, one meant for Fringe, and it could easily crumble without the right artists at the helm. These two actresses were so vulnerable, so open, so human, it was nothing less than mesmerizing to watch. If you want to see what Fringe is all about, go see this show. ... full review

This show moved me in so many different directions. Vanessa and Lindsay did a brilliant job bringing to life a variety of perspectives circling around some of the most painful, yet often ignored moments a human being experiences in a lifetime.... full review

I was blindsided in the best way. An initially ludicrous concept that ropes you into something exquisitely human.... full review
