What I liked

I enjoyed the use of shadows for some of the characters better than the absurdly terrible wigs – which were it’s own brand of humor I appreciated.

Crabbe and Goyle were excellent if portrayed a bit more intellectual than they are presented in the original works… the dual scene was quite fun.

I did enjoy the poly juice scene even if the dropping felt more accidental than intentional for their sentinal duty.

What I didn't like

If you want it to be taken seriously (note the IF) I do suggest improving the wig quality. It was the specific way to determine the characters apart and having the silly haphazard wigs takes any and all seriousness out of the play the seriousness I mean is that it felt like the budget for costuming was $20 and all spent at either a thrift shop or a flea market. While a tight budget and shopping at flea and thrift markets is not inherently a BAD thing, unless you want it to feel like a grade school production your props should not look like they were meant for 2nd graders. It’s cute when they do it… and a bit absurd when a post high school production does it. Shows the producer and cast don’t take it seriously, so why would I as an audience member? But it’s intended purpose is to convey humor as it is a satire… so? Perhaps a compromise would be over the top without looking cheap?

I have to agree the House Elf was really hard to understand, and she had some fun things to say.
The pacing when the additional cast came on was a wee bit fast and takes a moment to catch onto what scene is being portrayed and by then you’ve missed dialog and the scene is half over.

My overall impression

It was an interesting concept and I enjoyed the running joke about trying to force interesting things to happen.
