What I liked

Having my ass handed to me from out of nowhere.

Jokes jokes jokes. All kinds of jokes. Language jokes, character jokes, physical bits (the final sword move is fantastic), how the men are used, and noises! It’s got little noises! Relentless.

The cast is fantastic. Quick, funny, just a pleasure to watch. Like a well oiled (joke) machine, they burn through the script and create that lighter-than-air late night comedy vibe we all seek so desperately. The crowd I saw it with was IN, the place was LOUD, and I’m lookin’ to see when I can get in there AGAIN.

At the center of it all is Moore herself, holding down the narrative, as if it were an unruly joke dragon that she alone can tame. I could go on. But if I mentioned one particular actor I’d have to mention them all and I’d just end up talking about Celeste Pechous anyway so I ain’t gonna do it.

But come on.

What a show.

What I didn't like

So many jokes there’s barely room for the audience.

My overall impression

Show #4: “Why is my tree so mean?”

Kelly Moore is a joke machine and this cast could take over if they wanted to.
