What I liked
Kristina Mueller captivates the audience in every moment of this show. Her performance is so well crafted through such a dark story. The storytelling is perfectly paced, taking a breath at all the right moments. I was fascinated by the onstage costume and makeup change at the end of the show. It adds so much tension seeing that dress hanging at the back of the stage throughout the show.

My overall impression
Orangutan is disturbing and thought provoking. Parts of the narrative are shocking but never in the way you expect. This piece subverts your expectations before serving them to you on fine china.
