Strong, specific yet unpredictable absurdist writing reminiscent of Christopher Durang. Commanding and bold performance by Ms. Mueller – she looks each audience member right in the eye. Great staging and imaginative use of very little props – “the empty stage” in all its glory.

My overall impression
This show is an exploration down a strange and unique rabbit hole. It not only imagines aspects of the early childhood of Donald Trump, but adds a dark premonition and partial theory of how and why we ended up with him as our president. And it’s all brought to us through the complex psyche of his mother. It sent me on a thoughtful and emotional journey that I’m still thinking about, and will continue thinking about for the foreseeable future.
