Honestly my biggest problem was with house management… There was a ton of late seating combined with a whole bunch of people saving seats for some reason, so the first several scenes got consumed by audience members standing around trying to figure out where to sit… For real people were walking in a half hour into an hour-long show… Like, why are you even here?
And who let you in that late? People were asked to move, others were walking in front of the actors… I couldn’t really follow what was happening in the play, because I was mostly watching a seating fiasco in the audience…
My overall impression
A fun, contemporary send-up of power… Lots of current political commentary… Unfortunately the talent level wasn’t really up to the ideas…
