I’ve seen Amir Levi be hilarious in many roles, but the role of Edie Stevenson is a true highlight. Edie is over-the-top, and Amir does over-the-top the absolute right way. Demetris Hartman also makes for an excellent foil as Edie’s son.
What I didn't like
The play was episodic in scope which means that we meet a lot of interesting supporting characters that have only one scene. Would have loved for all the characters to have had an on-going part in the show.
My overall impression
This is a funny show that should be especially enjoyable to Broadway theater aficionados.
