What I liked
The story is light and bubbly but still retains a beating heart. It’s rare that a play where someone kills a rattlesnake with stilettos is simultaneously full of love and kindness.
What I didn't like
I would love to see this play with more of a set. The black background curtains aren’t ideal for the energy and pop of this show.
My overall impression
This play is a whirlwind of fun and laughs! The writing fires off jokes like a machine gun and the entire show is excellently cast. Many people have remarked how great this show is for musical theatre fans, but I can count on one hand the amount of musicals I’ve seen live and I still had an amazing time! The show stopping final number is a joy to watch and the entire theatre joins together, something that I think should happen much more often.
