There’s a low-key interactive portion that was so much fun and where you really get to see the depth AND breadth of his knowledge. Also, I legitimately felt like now I’m in love with baseball. It felt like I just got to sit with him in his excitement and knowledge. So. much. fun. OH! And the interactions with the booth. :D
What I didn't like
I can’t think of anything. This show expertly did what it set out to do.
My overall impression
This was by far the most entertaining and charming sheer knowledge flex on an audience I’ve ever seen. Brett skillfully takes you through his love of baseball while not hitting you over the head with terminology and facts that the average (or below average) lover of baseball may find overwhelming while not making you feel out-of-the-loop for not knowing what you don’t know. Please please go see this show. It’s some of my favorite 45 minutes I’ve spent at Fringe ever.
