The web-work of Brett’s brain is phenomenal. But it’s his ability to pique the interest of the audience just by being his entertaining self that makes the show so likable. Batter Up! has unexpected fun from the sound/lighting booth and (at least in my show) a little rivalry with the director. It’s a fun, engaging, air-conditioned ball of games, countdowns, and rowdy fans in the stands. The show is a treat!! (And I don’t mean the 80s player card gum.)
What I didn't like
I wish I had some constructive critique to put here.
My overall impression
I didn’t know how this description on paper would translate into a show, but I DIDN’T HAVE TO. This show has everything from amazing brain feats to comedy to nostalgia… nostalgia for a sport I don’t even follow and players I know nothing about!
