American Stranger

What I liked

As each scene unfolds, the story takes you on an emotional roller coaster of laughter, loneliness, sadness and ultimately love. This story is about a transgender woman and the many struggles she faces with trying to find love and acceptance with not only her family, but with society.

What I didn't like

I would like to have seen some scenes of when Mary comes out to her girl friend and the drama that unfolds before she begins her transition.

My overall impression

I own the record “American Stranger” by the band Lunden Reign and I really dig it.
I was very impressed with how Laura Espinoza, the song writer and guitarist of American Stranger, brought her album to life with this beautiful musical.
