The FaceTime between the mother and her daughter was sweet. The meet cute in the Lyft, was adorable and made me wish….and the sextime was hilarious.
What I didn't like
Some of the dialogue did feel a bit stiff at times but overall the whole of the script was incredibly natural. Words and stutters, even the drunken dialogue was natural.
My overall impression
Real. So real. Most if not all of the scenes spoke to me in regards to my own life. The indecision of moving from a small town to a big city for school. Being happy where you end up, but still missing the family and friends left behind. It was an inventive way to tell a old leaving home story.
