What I liked
I really liked Yvette’s portrayal of Moms Mabely. And also the juxtaposition of these two characters. Yvette transformed in and out of these two characters wonderfully.
What I didn't like
the off stage costume changes are a bit of a distraction. they take a little too long. wondering if there is a way to either incorporate changing on stage as well as having dialogue thru the change so the audience doesn’t have a chance to lose focus. the videos are cool but each costume change is just too long.
maybe she could change onstage behind a room divider while the videos are playing and narrate the importance of the videos.
My overall impression
Overall I think the story is super interesting. its a simple set with an excellent actor!
I didn’t know much about the character before seeing this play and it was nice to learn something new.
