I feel this idea is a great premise for a movie – even though the stage worked well to add some claustrophobic tension to an already charged situation. I’m amazed at how many themes were explored in such a short amount of time. I enjoyed the different dynamics in the relationships between the 3 main characters. There is an air of welcoming mystery. I loved Jola’s enigmatic character, and her performance was absolutely magnetic. And, of course, the ending! We live in a fame-obsessed culture, and I feel this story takes this familiar theme, and adds a depth that goes beyond the entertainment industry. I would love to see it further developed in a longer piece. I feel it belongs on the big screen.
What I didn't like
Develop it further, please!
My overall impression
How come a familiar story is so well told and it’s atmospheric, mysterious, funny, sexy, and symbolic at the same time? A dense and seductive short play about our dreams, illusions, failures, obsessions, and so much more!
