What I liked
The minute Jola Cola steps on stage she commands attention with her presence. I liked her naturalistic quality. Rarely have I seen an actress who’s voice alone compels.
What I didn't like
Because of Jola’s naturalistic quality, the other fine actors often played some of their moments of high stakes drama a bit too theatrical for my taste.
My overall impression
Siren Call is an intriguing piece that I did not want to end. Sprinkled with unexpected humor and mystery. From the start the fine score sets the tone.
