What I liked
I made that mistake when I first started working on my Audi Q7. Now I compare the year, exact model, and engine code on SUSTDI because that is what I use to narrow things down before ordering. Their categories separate older Gen1 vehicles from 2013–2016 Gen2 models, including the Q5, Q7, A6, A7, A8, Touareg, Cayenne Diesel, and several engine codes. I still confirm the part number elsewhere, since a model year alone is not always enough.
