What I liked

Raymond is a multitalented fellow, and his athletic burlesque moves were nothing short of amazing. But he is also a consummate actor. His last monologue to the audience about the loneliness of being used was heart wrenching.

What I didn't like

The climax of the play, much like the ultimate climax our protagonist waited for, was long in coming (pun completely intended.) The multilayered themes addressed were varied and interesting, but the core meaning of the piece might have been explored in a shorter space of time. This is not necessary in most other presentational situations, but Fringe is always about brevity. Perhaps, Yes. No. Maybe. deserves it’s own place as a full length play.

My overall impression

Yes. No. Maybe. was My Dinner With Andre meets Indecent Proposal meets Burlesque. It was an evening of esoteric discussion about the choices we make regarding sex, our dreams, and our desire to connect with other human beings.
