What I liked

I was greatly impressed by this show. I can’t say enough how one would enjoy watching four excellent performers deliver fully-rounded human beings grappling with a dilemma of modern life in Hollywood and the need to find love and success. It doesn’t dwell in the darkness of such decisions, nor does it condemn the journey, but reveals the stakes upon all those involved while tickling the audience along the way with plenty of humor. There were surprises all along the way.

What I didn't like

I would seriously not change a thing, but would hope to see this same cast deliver the same level of performance many more times for people to enjoy.

My overall impression

I enjoyed this show so much on all levels – the writing, directing, and acting was sublime – kudos to its creator Raymond-Kym Suttle – what a showcase for all involved. Without actually seeing it, one might say this was simply going to be a gay version of the movie Indecent Proposal, but it exceeds that concept in many ways and becomes its own unique exploration of humanity. Thanks to great writing it explores depths for every viewer to contemplate and plenty of wit to entertain and delight to enjoy the ride. Combined with excellent acting and directing, it shows what live theatre is capable of doing unlike any medium, and has moments with an almost transcendent poetry about it.
