What I liked
Besides the whole story?
Michael is instantly likeable on stage. Watching him ride his skateboard on stage and the little rumble sound it makes was oddly mesmerizing.
What I didn't like
I hate that my friend and I were late because the Pride Festival was going on at the same time and one hour just wasn’t enough time to get to the theatre on time. Thank goodness we were still allowed in.
My overall impression
Michael has such a unique style of storytelling.
His ‘off the cuff’ style had me on the edge of my seat.
He opens up his heart, as he goes through the few keepsake pieces that he could
save from being destroyed in a fire. What a rollercoaster ride of emotions from the devastation of tragedy to the liberation of surrender to what is and choosing to live on the edge of sweet memories.
