What I liked
Michael was engaging, honest, and hilarious. It was a joy to share in his experiences with him. His story had many ups and downs but was a ride I thoroughly enjoyed.
What I didn't like
I would love a little more polish to his performance, in that I felt Michael jumped around a bit to note details he perhaps forgot earlier. However, this will only get better with each performance and this did not detract from his overall effective storytelling nor his ability to move the audience.
My overall impression
A heartfelt look into a deeply personal story of loss, growth, and celebration. Michael’s story was funny, captivating, and heartwarming. An absolutely wonderful way to spend an evening!
