The acting and writing were so very in harmony. Every actor was willing to wear their heart on their sleeve when needed and it shows. No one fell into stereotype or charicature, but instead fully explored their character’s struggle for us to see. The dialogue felt genuine without becoming a soapbox and there were scenes that could have been plucked verbatim from life experiences.
What I didn't like
Hard to say anything. I was afraid the reveal at the end would feel unearned, but on the contrary, I felt it fit right in and was given the time to develop into a well-earned finale.
My overall impression
Such a fantastic piece and so so well acted. It feels relevant and dated at once, yet somehow all existing and reacting in the same space.
