What I liked

The writing, direction, and transitions from moment to moment without ever changing sets/location The voice of each character is well thought out and unique, especially when the same tale is told in succession by a different person. (Colin’s mother’s reason for leaving Ireland)

What I didn't like

Some parts are unclear due to pacing of dialogue.

My overall impression

The story telling in this play feels authentically Irish. I was transported to a tiny pub during the Troubles with a story that couldn’t be more relevant in today’s climate. This dynamic cast brings the colorful script to life and will have you on the edge of your seat when you’re not laughing along and/or crying along with them.
