What I liked
Solid performances from the cast, which humanize the lives of those forced to live on the street. The props and set design did the good job of bringing us into the world of the play, and the audience interaction also facilitated a connection with the characters.
What I didn't like
The dialogue between characters was far more captivating to me than the long monologues each character gave. So the show would have had an even greater impact had it focused on the interactions between these women and how those relationships impacted their lives.
My overall impression
An important window into an issue — homelessness — that is often discussed in the news media, but which is rarely personalized in the way that this show was able to do.
