What I liked
The dialogue is fast and entertaining. The play reminded me of how much I loved the West Wing and The War Room documentary. There was even a small bit of audience participation that fit perfectly into the show and mood of the crowd. I also LOVED the archival news footage used within the play. That added a whole other layer of realism and pulled me in further as an audience member.
What I didn't like
For me…nothing.
My overall impression
I had the pleasure of seeing the show on Saturday, 6/15 and LOVED it. It was a fascinating story and all of the actors were completely engaging. I didn’t really know much about Lee Atwater upon arrival. He made for a very interesting subject.
Plus it was a thrill to learn about him and his efforts to get George H. W. Bush elected.
