I particularly enjoyed the actors playing Lee and Dubbya. And I also really found the whole production VERY cohesive. Everyone on stage was really connected and present and it drew me in to the political intrigue; not typically my favorite genre!
What I didn't like
There’s really not much I can say here. I couldn’t really find a false note. Even the multimedia aspects really supported the scene changes and provided solid historical context.
My overall impression
I loved it. Start to finish, I was leaned forward in my chair. The writing really sang and I think Billy Ray’s direction made great use of the theatre in the round and let the actors all really shine. Favorite show I’ve seen so far.
