Lucy Gillespie and Billy Ray Brewton created such a lived-in world to showcase some expertly crafted and complicated characters. Each performance provided a fresh and thoughtful take on indelible figures from that era in American politics.
What I didn't like
I wish we could have seen even more of Atwater’s professional relationships, like with the oft-mentioned Manafort and Stone, especially given Stone’s alleged involvement in the Willie Horton advertisements.
My overall impression
A captivating show, with each scene ending as poignantly as possible. Also a terrifying harbinger for the current state of American politics.
A truly excellent way to start this year’s Fringe experience.
