All visual aspects of the production are spot on. Some more than others, but that’s probably just a matter of personal taste. The ensemble is incredibly tight and in sync. The musical accompaniment (primarily rhythmic) is appropriate with the director’s vision and the dramatically stylized movement informs the text. READ the director’s note. Great job.
What I didn't like
I was glad I wasn’t seated in the front on House Right. My guess is the accompaniment might have overwhelmed some of the spoken text. Sit in the back of the house for a full visual experience. A few volume concerns, but it was a preview so they were probably getting used to the space. And if someone could please take a hammer to the head of the woman in the second row who kept opening her phone to take pictures it would be appreciated. Congratulations all!
My overall impression
A wondrous way to spend an hour. Visually exciting and slickly choreographed and produced. It’s nice to see someone put so much thought into a production. Not common.
