What I liked

Almost all elements of this play worked for me — it’s extremely funny but not overly satirical, and ultimately offers a hopeful view on our collective future. While experimental and deeply strange, it is still easily accessible for the casual viewer.

What I didn't like

The opening song mislead me into thinking that the play was a “musical,” which worried me initially, but the songs and accompanying performances were bizarre and captivating — the perfect mix!

My overall impression

This play is a hilarious and haunting look into the mind of anybody who has worked a white collar job before, and Ben brilliantly explores the effects of late capitalism on our beliefs about death, legacy and potatoes. Be prepared for comedy, tragedy, and unexpectedly memorable songs. Please go and see The Last Powerpoint — it is truly (Power)ful and thought-provoking!
