This show was hilarious and a stunning use of the purposeful kitsch. The dialogue was crisp, the performances were aced and I don’t think a smile ever left my face. Pockets was a great anchor, Veegan was perfect, Reynolds nailed all three of his characters and everybody in the cast had their chance at a moment to pop.
What I didn't like
A bigger budget would’ve lent itself to more of a set, but when Robot Teammate gets lemons they make a great friggin show.
My overall impression
The songs and script were tight and it allowed the actors the space to really dig into their characters with an almost SNL inspired aire. This kept you engaged and at the fingertips of the performers and the scenes carried momentum in what was a laugh out loud funny, definite must-see.
