What I liked
The music is great. Each song is distinct and fun to listen to. Each main character is also developed and performed well.
What I didn't like
The primary players of Robot Teammate really delved into their characters and I could feel that with their attempts of a variety of English accents during the show. I wish more of the ensemble cast surrounding them would’ve also bought into that, but the parity between the primary and ensemble performances did not ruin anything for myself while watching.
My overall impression
An awesome and hilarious hour of music, quips, goofy English accents. I’ve seen all of Robot Teammate’s shows at Fringe and each one has been a unique and fun experience. I could tell they had a lot of fun putting this together and performing. They blend many styles of music and humor. This is the Lego Movie of musical stage productions at Fringe. Excited to watch what they do next.
