Bushwick

What I liked

The cast got me involved with the characters quickly. It was fast paced and funny without being slapstick. I also liked having the one actor playing three characters it worked in a “we’re in on this” kind of way. Each of the characters really had their own sensibility or worldview, and you could definitely feel how that would cause conflict within the four walls of a Bushwick apartment.

What I didn't like

When the play first started, I thought the older man’s monologue went on a bit too long, but when I put it in context of what was happening on that night, it worked.

My overall impression

It was funny and clever…really brought back a time period, that unfortunately seems very far away right now.
