Playwright Monica Bauer dialogue plays on all the emotions, from laughter to extreme sadness and back again, and Fico’s chameleon-like talents help her milk the most from every line.
What I didn't like
It all worked for me… but as much as I loved John Fico’s portrayal of all the characters… I can’t help wondering what this might turn into if it was revised into a full-length play with other actors, so we could see John (in the starring role, of course) interacting with the different characters. But as a solo piece: Made for Each Other works brilliantly as is.
My overall impression
Made for Each Other is an incredible dramedy: funny, poignant, and thoughtful, featuring a brilliant performance by John Fico.
