Everyone involved in the production was in character from the moment we got in line. I liked the use of media and music in the production and the actual journal entries used in the story. Robert told his story with charm, humor and vulnerability.
What I didn't like
It was a little bit confusing the first time God/faith was questioned – but once I got used to the change in lighting to illustrate the change in who was being addressed – it was more clear.
My overall impression
This heartfelt and vulnerable story of a journey through faith kept my family and I engaged throughout the show. So impressed by the balance of heavy questions and light humor – and the performance of Robert Perkins. Kudos to everyone involved. Go see this show!
