I really loved the performances, the symbolism in the set (even in its minimalism) and the clear direction.
What I didn't like
I can’t really think of anything. I left the theater feeling wonderful.
My overall impression
I really loved this show. It is a heartfelt and moving family story of two sisters growing up and surviving poverty in New Zealand in the 1940’s. The cast took me on a ride of laughter and tears through the expert direction of Leah Patterson. I highly recommend.
