What I liked

I left the theater with the music running through my head, and the story of the Hamilton’s love living in my heart. John Coppola’s direction and choreography was brilliant, and I loved the dichotomy of the musical cast on stage and the couple writing the musical above them. Rachael McLachlan shines as Olive, and her song “Could Have Sworn” delivers crystal clear vocals that will knock you’re socks off. Chloe Zubiri’s sass and sexiness leaves us wanting more as Shirley, and Luke Wall and Cameron Gilliam both deliver with great songs and some truly outstanding dances.

What I didn't like

I loved this show so fully, I have no critiques to give.

My overall impression

Let’s Write a Musical is a powerful rollercoaster of love, and it will leave you wanting to ride again! Lawrie Chiaro Smylie has given us such an incredible gift with this musical that reminds us that when you love, love, love someone they are never truly gone. With an incredible cast and the beautiful story of a couple’s journey in love this is a show that shouldn’t be missed.
