What I liked

David Haverty is a force of nature and really steals the show. His performance has so many dimensions and really lifts this show into another orbit.

What I didn't like

Again, as someone with depression and anxiety, I could relate to this, however, this show only presented a metaphor for these mental illnesses, but doesn’t go any further than that. It doesn’t leave me with a sense of understanding of my own, or anyone elses’ illnesses. Yes, the end twist is very clever, but aside from that reveal, where is the deeper meaning, what is the meaning, and what is the message of this show? What am I suppose to walk away with understanding?

My overall impression

I was very entertained by this production. The complexities and nuances were very thought provoking and entetaining. As someone who battles with depression and anxiety, this production spoke to me. The mix of physical and verbal gymnastics is quite entertaining and I was entirely engaged with everyone, trying to make sense of this complex puzzle written well by Ian Kaye.
