What I liked

The choreography of the various battles was a bizarre mix of Three Stooges and WWE, but at a mental hospital. The performers were all fully invested in insanity. The Man was very quiet, but very insane, which was nice to see at the front of the stage. Also, the play made use of every second of its tight run time.

What I didn't like

I think there was a miscue at the very end, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the show; I wonder if there could be more complication of who is “really” imaginary in the play (maybe even the audience?!?!) but I loved the premise. Maybe have a book on-stage other than One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (which makes sense, of course, but could maybe be a little more strange/surprising when it’s revealed).

My overall impression

The slapping was glorious, the performance by The Man was serene, and I had a wonderful time.
