I liked how the writers do not shy away from current issues facing Americans of all colors and creeds. They do not skirt around the issues of race, religion, gender, politics, or social class; but it’s done with taste and a conscientious view which asks us to look closer at ourselves, ease up, and have a laugh.
What I didn't like
Give these guys a MainStage, with a hundred thousand dollars and the show would sell out; not to mention change the landscape of American comedy.
My overall impression
The Color Collective is an insanely intelligent sketch comedy show that (give it a few years) will rival MAdTV, In Living Color, or dare I say, Saturday Night Live. The writers are on point, the acting is hilarious, and the whole shebang makes for an incredibly entertaining evening. GO. SEE. THIS.
