A fun variety show with a diverse cast and subject matter to match. It manages to entertain while tackling social issues and satirizing the ways in which we often respond to them....

The Color Collective is an insanely intelligent sketch comedy show that (give it a few years) will rival MAdTV, In Living Color, or dare I say, Saturday Night Live. I had fun overall. It's no surprise that in a multi-multi-culti-culti sketch show, some scenes are stronger than others. This was a fair and commendable balance and, a survey - if I may - of L.A. There were some fun, kinky bits... and some which were admirably "borderline" so... it did what it's supposed to do. A few cheap shots and gross-outs but, daring enough....

I wanted to like it. I wanted to like it so bad so I went into every sketch sitting at the edge of my seat with a huge smile and then slowly finding myself sinking back. There were some STAND OUT funny people. Like next level funny, but there were too many moments/performances/sketches that fell flat....
