What I liked
The stories Kent told were poignant and at the same time entertaining. He was honest about his childhood and how it affected his choices as an adult. I work with him and was blown away by how much I really didn’t know about his life. He was funny, but also serious and compelling. His dance skills were impressive as well!
What I didn't like
We all agreed it would have been amusing to see some skin in the opening scene.
My overall impression
Kent was honest, raw, real and relatable to audience members of all ages and races. He combines sensitive personal stories with humor, candor and even some dancing! He really makes you feel like you were there as he was growing up.
