What I liked

Firstly, The writing in this piece is utterly phenomenal. The story, albeit fictionalized feels somehow realistic. Not to mention the symbolism and motifs of the set pieces feel organic to the story. For that, I have to tip my hat off to Mohammed Ojargi (the director and writer). Secondly, The two leads are incredibly talented. They really do a phenomenal job at materializing the world of Greenwood Mississippi in 1964.

What I didn't like

Audio is a bit muffled at time times, but all in all the story is comprehensible.

My overall impression

Two wealthy African-American entertainers at the height of their careers take a trip to Greenwood Mississippi in 1964. Harry Belafonte & Sidney Poitier, travel to complete a task there, which as you can imagine is the last place you’d want to be in 1964 as an African-American. The acting is top tier and the writing is clever. I highly recommend seeing the show, you’ll be in for a treat it’s a ton to unpack so a second, maybe even a third watch will be warranted!
