What I liked

This is a great show that makes you think. Again, even though it takes place in 1964, it is so relevant to the World and especially America today.

What I didn't like

Honestly, the only criticism is the sound system. There was weird static every time it was turned on.

My overall impression

This is a really great show. Thematically, it is poignant and relevant to issues facing Black people today. The show takes place in 1964 during the Civil Rights Movement and the characters argue over the correct approach to effect change. Listening to them discuss what is happening at that time really makes you realize how little has changed in America since then. Things have changed in many ways, yes, but in so many other ways they really haven’t at all. What is the best way to go about fighting for your cause? This show presents both sides of the argument and really makes you feel for each person’s side.
