What I liked

The relationship between the two characters and their drive towards the same goal with conflicting methodologies was captivating. The give and take and the way that different issues were brought up was natural and engaging. In the end, I had more perspective on their struggle without being lectured.

What I didn't like

I felt that some of the pacing, especially in the middle third, lagged a bit. There were times when I felt one of the actors was more focused on giving meaningful looks than being the character.

My overall impression

An important play that explores a true event in the civil rights struggle in a beautiful, real way.
