A fluid and charming portrait of a real human beings life. Filled with the eloquent and relevant observations on a boy coming of age, his journey to being a black gay adult and dealing with the changes he knew he had to make. It will have you smiling, laughing and wide eyed. A very intimate setting we really enjoyed. ... full review

At times uproariously funny and at other times heartbreaking, this unique story about a specific man's journey resonates with deep humanity and truthfulness. I found myself laughing, crying and walking away from the theatre with a full heart as I pondered over what I had experienced. The performer opens himself up and allows you to truly be in his shoes through some of his joys and struggles. Truly, a wonderful show. ... full review

I really liked this show! Kelvin is a warm and engaging storyteller, which makes the issues he touches on - including racism, homophobia, and body shaming - carry all the more impact. And he never pounds you over the head; rather, he just tells his story, simply and effectively, so you find yourself fully invested in the man and his journey. By the end I was deeply moved and wanted to hear more (always the sign of a good theatrical experience). I hope more people seek out this show!... full review

"Too Blunt" is just blunt enough - honest, passionate, revealing and ultimately very loving and forgiving. Kudos to the entire team (Mr. Blunt, Chris Game and Adam Earle) for a beautifully executed evening of theatre.... full review
