What I liked
Kelvin and Director Chris Game have provided a clean, simple structure to allow the show and issues discussed to move forward. I learned a lot about Kelvin and the experience of a Black Gay Child. The show has a lot of heart and made it easy for me to open my heart to the man and his messages. The projections and music added a great second layer to the show, and were all chosen, arranged and executed seamlessly.
What I didn't like
I can’t really think of anything.
My overall impression
“Too Blunt” is just blunt enough – honest, passionate, revealing and ultimately very loving and forgiving. Kudos to the entire team (Mr. Blunt, Chris Game and Adam Earle) for a beautifully executed evening of theatre.
