What I liked

Wow! Forget about Plato’s Cave, this play digs down away from the light as much as it digs up towards it (Dark Comedy at it’s finest) – NO HOLDS BARRED; or, I should say; “IT’S A COPING MECHANISM!!!”

I just kept thinking, where the hell is this going next (even when the characters have nowhere literally to go, or you think you have them all figured out)? This is the unfolding novelty of this story, which plays out until it’s full-on madness in the dark, both hysterical and disturbing! It’s much more than that, though, it’s great!!!

What I didn't like

Read some comments about the venue, but I disagree; I thought the arrangement of chairs, the odd point of view angles, the blackness and the sheer rawness of this immersive experience was quite fitting! No complainants

My overall impression

I thought a collapsed coal mine would feel claustrophobic, but under this mine is a whole other world of dark stuff to be uncovered, and I’m not talking about the coal! Immersive and addictive, as the show plunges into the darkness, further and further and further… Once the lights go down, you’re down there with these men from the beginning; it’s an atmosphere filled with an incomprehensible amount of personalities all placed in a dire situation, and everything that happens thereon is full-priced theatre! Highly recommended!
