The staging is great. Half the story happens IRL while the other half happens in the fan-fictional world created by the main character Casey. The way these two worlds interact was creative, effective, and really funny. Most actors play multiple roles and are clearly having a blast. Shout out to Sarah Richards, who is basically on stage the entire time and captures the confidence/insecurity of Casey and her fan-fic creative outlet beautifully.

I don’t believe in this section.
My overall impression
Incredibly fun and inventive show about fan fiction, goths v. preps, and growing up in a world where you don’t fit in. Everyone involved—writers, director, actors—exemplifies creative freedom and fun.
