What I liked
The script – it’s quite impressive how the play was distilled down to it’s core in such a fulfilling way in the excellent adaptation by one of the leads himself, Sandro. The directing was exquisite, and the lighting cues really added depth to the story. But the acting stole the show. Standout performances from the actors!
What I didn't like
Would love to see an even longer version. Wasn’t ready for it to end!
My overall impression
Engaging, hilarious and at times, heartbreaking. Monika’s interpretation of the role once played by Marilyn Monroe is both a faithful tribute as well as unique unto itself. Sandro and Monika’s rapport is mesmerizing to watch.
