The casting was wonderful. Sandro Monetti’s performance as Tom Sherman was easily one of the best things in the play . Monika Ekiert performance succeeds and she has big shoes to fill as The Girl originated on film by Marilyn Monroe.
The pacing is brisk and chemistry between the actors is solid.
What I didn't like
I do this Ms. Ekiert could have relaxed a bit more into the character. Meeting her afterward I was struck by how much more energy she had and I wish I has a little more of that in her performance, but coming from film to stage is always a new world and I see great things in her future. I look forward to see both these personalities on stage more in the future.
My overall impression
This was a brave and successful transformation of a well known film and play into 45 hysterical minutes .
