What I liked
It’s so difficult to balance humor and heart, and Callie Ott does both so well. She delivers a tour de force performance as she explores and rises above intense trauma. Her songs range from very funny to raw and emotional, and her voice is stunningly good. She’s a star.
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cheer. What more do you want?
What I didn't like
She could perform it more when Fringe is over. The shows are all sold out, and Dear Jeff deserves to be seen.
My overall impression
An amazing one-woman show that effortlessly switches between goofy high-energy comedy and real, heartbreaking pathos. Callie Ott is sensational.
